UNM College of Population Health

At the UNM College of Population Health, our faculty members are committed to empowering students to make a positive impact on healthcare outcomes. Our School of public health members are leaders in the field of population health, and they are passionate about sharing their expertise with students and helping them develop the skills they need to succeed in their careers. Public health is a critical field that plays a vital role in promoting health equity and addressing health disparities. The University of New Mexico's graduate program in public health provides students with the skills and knowledge to make a meaningful impact on the health of diverse populations. Through a curriculum that emphasizes community-based research, students learn to work collaboratively with community members to identify health needs and develop effective interventions. Graduates are well-equipped to address the complex social, economic, and environmental factors that contribute to health disparities and to advocate for policies that promote health equity.
