Press fusible Peltex to wrong side of outer fabric rectangle and sew straight 1/2 seams along sides and bottom, leaving top and two snipped corners unsewn. Pin inner (liner) fabric to right sides of outer fabric and tuck canvas straps in between. Sew 3/8 seam around bag opening, making sure to catch ends of straps.

String Bag

Lay the outside and lining fabric back to back, matching up their hems. Sew around the edges with a 1/4-inch seam allowance, leaving a 3-inch opening on the lining.
