Dr. Olfa Koobar is a French Consultant Neonatologist at CMC and pediatrician in Dubai and head of the NICU. She has an MD in Pediatrics and a subspecialty in Neonatology.

She worked in France and then in the middle east for the last few years. She gained expertise in handling premature babies from 23 weeks of gestational age.

She is passionate about premature infants and very low birth weight newborns management, breastfeeding support, and developmental care implementation. Her approach is to deliver family-centered care.

She loves to follow her newborn patients from discharge until the age of 18 and to give them advice for nutrition or required vaccines. She is also actively involved in general pediatric medical consultations.
