Whale Watching Tenerife

Whale Watching Tenerife gives a wonderful opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful sea in the world and contact with nature. Based on the south-west coast of Tenerife we are very lucky to be able to work in a special portion of the Atlantic Ocean which plays permanent home to a range of whale and dolphin species. Unlike some fisheries which provide seasonal viewing, our tours are available all year round.

It is our goal to offer guests a once in a lifetime experience at sea and to promote the respect of marine life and responsible tourism. All trips are in small groups to allow for personal and intimate experience. From the instant you climb aboard, Kayak Adventures’ professional crew — experienced captains and naturalist guides — is committed to your safety, comfort, and educational experience. They'll tell you all sorts of interesting facts about the different types of wildlife you will maybe see, such as resident pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins, or (depending on the season) sperm whales, beaked whales, andpback whales on the move.

We are proud of leading the way in responsible whale watching. Our boats adhere to strict regulations which allow the natural behavior of the animals to be protected. We don’t pursue them or push them. Instead, we let encounters unfold as they choose, when we feel the animals will be most accepting of our presence and when we know they won’t feel accosted, resulting in a more serene and respectful exchange — one that’s better for them and certainly for our guests. This increases your odds of just being able to see any real behavior like the animals interacting or hunting or playing.

From there we normally head to a beautiful bay for a scenic stop and great swim/snorkel in the clear waters. While you relax and take in the stunning coastal sights, including the cliffs of Los Gigantes or the beaches of Costa Adeje, enjoy free drinks and snacks on board.
