Truck Town

TruckTown isn’t exactly brand new. In fact, 57 Lombard Street, has been the home of Edgetown motors since the mid-’70s. Founded in 1974 by John Hinton and his brother Grant, the 2 brothers have sold over 10,000 cars from this corner lot. In the fall of 2020, Grant Hinton decided to retire from selling cars (he will continue to own/operate E.T Fast Lube at the same location).However, for John (the younger brother) he decided to give the dealership a big reboot and focus mainly on Trucks, SUV’s, crossovers & minivans. With over 80% of sales at Hinton Dodge, A & B Ford, Smiths Falls Ford being Trucks and SUV’s it sure did make a lot of sense to rebrand this corner as the hot spot for late model trucks.A few words from John: “I’m still really passionate when I talk about this corner and its history. Giving it a new start and seeing everything come together has been a lot of fun and I look forward to continuing to serve my past and new customers”.
