Primarily, what I offer is medication management. That is where the tailoring of care comes in. No one wants a medication with undesirable side effects or simply doesn't produce the desired effect. So, if medication can be helpful in some way, we will consider all possible alternatives. When done appropriately, this will require, in the beginning especially, a bit of time. As a result of putting this type of focus on determining the proper medication to be used, I do not do any type of formal therapy. I will listen, ask questions and make sure everything is understood and that we are on the same page. Some may call this supportive therapy but it's really a part of managing medication in the best manner.
