The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Our visionary founder, Mrinal Kanti Saha, embarked on a journey to create one of Kolkata’s leading ethnic wear brands in 1986.
That small step, opening a humble shop in the fabled Kirti Mitra Lane of Hatibagan – a lane immortalized in history as the birthplace of the historic Mohan Bagan club – has led to The Shahensha, a brand synonymous with traditional Indian wear.
