Team Silva Martial Arts Academy

Welcome to our academy. My name is Sergio Silva and I have been teaching Brazillian Jiu-jitsu in the Bay Area since 1999 when I emigrated to the United States. At our academy we emphasize respect without submissiveness. I respect my students as the individuals that they are with a focus on their development as martial artists and people. I am a 3rd degree Black Belt in Brazillian Jiu-jitsu, 1st degree Black Belt in Judo and have participated and won Brazillian Jiu-jitsu tournaments at the black belt level, submission wrestling tournaments and MMA matches.
