High speed spectrometers are principally used to monitor fast moving thermal processes in real time. The entire infrared spectra and visible spectra can be obtained as an image using high speed visible and mid infrared linear arrays. When the spectrometer is coupled to one of Spectraline's high speed scanners, hyperspectral images are captured in both visible and mid infrared regions of the spectrum.
