Silken Strands in North Wales has been established for over thirty years - almost 20 of them in North Wales under our ownership - we are a small, friendly company selling (mainly by mail order) embroidery threads for hand and machine and all the other requisites of the embroiderer and, since we incorporated Fantasy Fabrics, all the exotic and interesting fabrics you can use in your embroidery, textiles and embellishing.
As well as Madeira's retail range, we have the full range of the large reels of Madeira Classic 30s, 40s, FS20, Burmilana and Supertwist which are now difficult to find in the UK.
DMC perle, Presencia (Finca) 12's and 16's variegated perle, Natesh, Rajmahal Art Silk, Coats Alcazar and their silk thread Seta Reale, and YLI threads figure in our vast range of threads as, of course, do Oliver Twists and Stef Francis' hand dyed threads.
