Recognized as a leader in the treatment of adolescent behavioral health, Muir Wood operates gender-separate residential campuses in northern California, with a total of 64 beds specializing in the treatment of mental health, dual diagnosis, residential detoxification, and substance abuse treatment for boys and girls ages 12-17. These healing centers encompass over 48 acres in idyllic Sonoma County, and are a trusted in-network provider with many major insurers including Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, MHN, Magellan/Blue Shield CA, and Kaiser Permanente. The Learning Centers at Muir Wood, a State of California recognized supplemental education program, is also accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
