About Business
Mayfield Environmental Engineering (dba Mayfield Environmental Solutions) is a certified Minority-Owned (MBE), Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), and Small Business-Public Works (SBPW) General Engineering Contractor based in Southern California. With roots dating back to 1985 under Mayfield Enterprises, our family-owned business has delivered high-impact environmental and civil services for over two generations.
From Superfund cleanups to municipal contracts, our expertise spans a wide range of environmental remediation and compliance projects. We are proud to serve a diverse portfolio of clients—including federal, state, tribal, and local governments—on some of California’s most complex and high-risk environmental sites.
Led by CEO James Mayfield (QSD/QSP/QISP/CPESC/CISEC), we’re headquartered in Long Beach, with our operations yard located in the City of Carson. We are fully registered for California Public Works, CalTRANS, Federal, and Tribal contracting.
