ReActiv8 for Long Term Back Pain?
To determine if you are a candidate, speak with your doctor. Patients who have mechanical persistent long term back pain and have not had relief from medication treatment or physical therapy might consider ReActiv8. It is recommended as a treatment for persistent long term back pain that won't go away and is linked to multifidus muscle dysfunction, as shown by imaging or physical tests.
ReActiv8 should not be used by patients who are/have:
• Being unable to use the system;
• Unfit for surgery including the ReActiv8 implant;
· A planned or ongoing pregnancy;
• A condition that is now causing muscular wasting and long term back pain;
• A current neurological condition;
• A Body Mass Index (BMI) of 35 or above.
