Katar River, a vision of Sara Wordofa, officially opened its doors in September of 2008 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The vision was to bring authentic Ethiopian food and bakery products to the Twin Cities.  The dishes at Katar River are seasoned to perfection, savored and slowly stewed in our special spices & sauces to give them their exotic taste.   Vegetarian dishes are also a staple of our cuisine.
