Holocaust & Anti-semitism Foundation

The Holocaust and Antisemitism Foundation, Aotearoa New Zealand is a charitable trust registered with the Charities Commission.

The Holocaust and Antisemitism Foundation aims to raise awareness about the history of the Holocaust. The foundation provides individuals with educational resources and educational videos that tell the stories of Holocaust survivors. Capturing, archiving, and conveying the stories of the Holocaust is the core of their work. They stand for the integrity of holocaust memory and oppose the mounting challenges of denial, distortion, and universalisation.

One of the foundation's most notable works is Auschwitz. Now., a travelling exhibition in Auckland led by the creators of Shadows of Shoah. 500 individuals attended the exhibition's launch in Tauranga.

The exhibition consists of black and white images of Auschwitz and survivor portraits shot in 2019. It also includes three-minute Holocaust survivor stories played on a large projection screen, with plaques offering brief explanations that accompany these powerful images.

The Holocaust Foundation welcomes any individual who is interested in sponsoring the creation of more Holocaust survivor stories in hopes to bring their story to light.

Auschwitz. Now. has toured nineteen art galleries, museums, and public spaces throughout New Zealand from 2013 to 2016.

The exhibition is available for bookings. Those who wish to send exhibition proposals for galleries and museums may send them via their website at https://holocaustfoundation.com/
