Hammer Design is a Boston-based landscape architecture design firm dedicated to providing high quality, cost-effective services tailored to our clients' needs. Founded by Principal Nelson Hammer in 1992 after 23 years of service with multi-disciplinary design firms, Hammer Design has site planning experience in a wide variety of project types, with an emphasis on small- to medium-sized commercial, residential, and educational facilities, and interior landscape design projects of all sizes. Specialization in these project types has enabled us to resolve intricate or complex site issues because we have often encountered them in similar prior instances. Our firm provides clients with a level of knowledge and project expertise typically found in larger firms, yet delivers it with the personal commitment and enthusiasm of a smaller firm.
