Glassworks Hounsell (GWH) is a UK-based precision engineering firm, founded in 1887, with a proud legacy of building high-performance, heavy-duty machinery and components for demanding industrial sectors. Operating out of the Midlands with ISO 9001:2015 certification, GWH is trusted by leaders in glass, aerospace, automotive, defence, robotics, and medical technology.

We specialise in CNC turning, milling (VMC), and precision fabrication of large, complex components in materials such as Super Duplex, Inconel, Titanium, and HIP’ed Aluminium. Our facility is set up for high-tolerance, low-to-medium volume, high-integrity manufacture, not subcontract overflow or sheet metal.
