Excel Family & Youth Society

The Excel Family and Youth Society was established 13 years ago. It was founded by Dr. Girma Lulu and is currently led by around ten board members. The board director is Dr. Girma Lulu. There was a time when America was in an economic crisis which indirectly impacted the lives of Canadian workers, especially labor workers. Dr. Girma was curious to know what the reason behind this crisis was. Hence, he decided to research and find out the root cause of the economic crisis. Ethiopians and Eritreans were among the victims of this crisis. For the growing number of immigrants, resources and effective means of integrating these families into the country were lacking. Hence, Dr. Girma decided to create an association so that they can easily discuss and alleviate community problems.
