Blue Ridge Travelers

"Welcome to the Blue Ridge Traveler's Towns and Trails, including Marion, Old Fort, Linville Falls, Lake James and Little Switzerland. These communities offer hiking, waterfall and mountain biking trails, inside our spectacular section of the Pisgah National Forest. Pisgah includes over 500,000 acres of forest lands, approximately 70,000 of those acres are right here. The Blue Ridge Parkway serves as our unofficial northern county border, with attractions and outdoor recreation sites between Linville Falls and Crabtree Falls. Typically, we enjoy mild winters and most sites are available year-round.
