Bird Tree Urban Farm This alpine town in British Columbia, Canada, is located in the Rocky Mountains. A market garden was established by Kristina Metzlaff and Greg Golovach. There has been a recent uptick in the practice of purchasing seedlings and other agricultural products directly from farmers, and there is a newfound enthusiasm among locals for sustainably cultivated cut flowers; all of these trends should be met by our business. By 2024, we will have expanded our biointensive microfarm to one acre by continuing to farm three areas.
From May through October, when the crops are in full bloom, you can find us every Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm at the LFI Revelstoke Farmers Market. You can discover seasonal fruits, vegetables, saplings, and convenient bouquets at the market. Order bespoke bouquets, seedlings, and flowers for special occasions from our online store, where you may also select from three different flower subscription plans. You may only purchase dahlia tubers from our online store. You can choose between local pickup or flat-rate shipping across Canada. Additionally, there is a specific page for brides. Please get in touch with us personally if you are a commercial establishment in need of floral arrangements for an upcoming event or workplace. Mountain Goodness and The Revelstoke Sugar Shack will sell retail flower bouquets all during the 2024 growing season.
