Hello, My name is Andy Forkgen, I am married to Angela with two boys (Charlie 2.5 and Max 1.5) and live in Southfields, London. I have a 16 year track record in IT working in software support, programming and project management roles for organisations such as esure.com, the Metropolitan Police, Telegraph Media Group and Hewlett Packard. I am the Business Development Director of the UK subsidiary of an Indian E-Business company called Angler Technologies. I first became involved with Angler when I outsourced some software development to them when working for another company called The Project Network - we had the need for overflow resource for a web project, I went to visit Angler in Coimbatore, India and liked what I saw immediately. Time went on and several successful projects later I threw in all my chips and started up the UK subsidiary with them. Angler are a really different E-Business (web, multimedia etc) company. Like the first company that I ran - Websitters.co.uk, Angler look after all sizes of customers from the very small to the very large and do it in a very friendly and caring way (by the way, we still run Websitters to look after the very small customers and hosting accounts). This is why I felt synergy with Angler and felt compelled to help them penetrate the UK market. I am sure we will continue to be successful as we have a great mix of techie skills, excellent design talent and good local Business Analysis, Project Management and Account Management (this is the area which I head up in the UK) so all UK projects have local knowledge and support.
