Welcome to the premier martial arts training facility serving San Marcos and beyond. Our programs blend traditional discipline with modern techniques to develop physical skills, mental fortitude, and character. Located at 1006 TX-Highway 80, SMASH offers world-class Mixed Martial Arts training for all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to professional fighters. Led by internationally experienced coach Cody Hoffstatter, who has 17 years of coaching experience and trained fighters for Team USA, SMASH is the first facility in the USA to offer IMMAF curriculum belt rankings. Our comprehensive programs include MMA, No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Muay Thai. Our MMA program integrates striking, grappling, and ground fighting for a complete combat system. We specialize in No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, focusing on practical submission grappling without traditional kimonos, and our Muay Thai program teaches the art of eight limbs with authentic techniques and conditioning. All programs are designed to be directly applicable to MMA and self-defense situations.
